Lee Schaner
Owner of Schaner Jewelry
In 1949, my father, Al Schaner, entered into the jewelry business as an apprentice bench jeweler. In no time, he learned to assemble and finish jewelry. He would spend many hours and then years, perfecting his craft. He was known for the quality workmanship that he developed, with a keen eye and a patient hand.

In 1957, he decided that it was time to open up his own business. While still doing some of the work himself, he started selling his items to the public. As the years went on, his devotion to quality workmanship never wavered. Today the business he started thrives and that dedication to crafting a fine product still holds true.

Though my father has now passed on, he left me with the knowledge and skill to continue to produce fine quality jewelry. Our customers are the backbone of our business and we make certain that each customer gets the individual attention they deserve. This results in fine, quality jewelry that they can be enjoyed for generations to come. Being part of a family business has taught me many things. Listening to our customer’s needs and being able to turn their dreams into reality, is a great source of pride for me and my company. We always provide a tailor made product that reflects our customer’s good taste.

Our business has grown substantially from our small booth in New York’s historic Diamond District. We have customers in all 50 states, as well as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Norway and Australia. We guarantee your absolute satisfaction without worry – we go through great lengths to ensure that our jewelry and our service will meet and exceed your every expectation.

Please come see us in our private show room, located steps from Manhattan’s famous Bryant Park and conveniently accessible from Times Square and Grand Central Station.
